The mission of the MBS Athletic Department
is to build the physical skills, encourage the spiritual
lives, and develop the character of our students
by means of
a competitive athletic program administered in a
caring Christian environment.
Athletics are an important part of Midway Baptist
High School. We believe that our athletes are representatives
of our school, and thus should strive to honor God
on
and off the field. The goal of our athletic department
is to compete to the best of
our abilities with integrity. MBS students compete
in several CIF sanctioned sports including: Football,
Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, and Softball.

The Lady Patriots are League Champs!
Congratulations are in order for Coach
Gene Rheam, Coach Izzy Sanchez and our
amazing Lady Patriot Basketball Team for taking home
the league championship
five years in a row! Over the past five seasons the
Lady Patriots have been unstoppable. This year's team
finished with an 8-0 league record, and soon you
will
see the championship banner hanging in the gymnasium.
In addition to the league championship, our very own
Rayelle Calvert was voted
this year's Citrus League
South "Player of the Year" and several of our players
were voted on to the All-League team. (1st team All-League:
Rayelle Calvert, Liandra Rheam and Michelle Fimbres.
2nd team-Sarai Vasquez and Kazmira Brown.)
